I'm kinda short and far from GQ handsomeness. I had a tall model girlfriend in my early 20's. It started because she had the same name I had given my guitar. Silly, right?
My friends were envious, but I felt less manly when I had to stand on the steps to kiss her goodnight. She didn't seem to mind, it was my male ego.
Neither of us were good dancers but as you can imagine, I didn't care.
Unfortunately she didn’t have depth, or pursue knowledge, so I eventualy got bored. I learned that other kinds of beauty were more important to me.
A model I met through my photographer friend played cello, studied arts and biology in university, spoke multiple languages....quite the opposite. My friend tried hard but she was unreachable because she was pretty and constantly hit on. Can't blame her distance but it was too bad because behind her looks she was genuinely interesting!
