Used one of the many birthday rewards that have been coming in and got my free dessert from Chili’s! Got the molten lava cake and it’s ginormous!


I just realized the assholes forgot my caramel sauce! Whats worse is i asked for no chocolate sauce (they give u the magic shell chocolate for the ice cream) and asked for extra caramel and the idiots gave me 2 sides of chocolate!

I used mossy bits, lots of them. Total failure on the first attempt, there were so many of the things in the soil mix that they killed seedlings in a few days. I dug one of the failing seedlings up to see what was up, and the little roots were surrounded by larvae. Mossy bits dissolved in irrigation water kept a lid on the buggers the second time, but I am not going back. Coco seems to fit my personality better. Different strokes eh, there are a lot of ways to grow weed, the key is to learn one of them. One of these days, I may get there.

I had a grow-long battle with them a long time ago. I used air pots and all those side holes that worked great in previous grows became additional portals for the buggers. Live and learn.

It's the reason I left soil for hydro, then more recently to coco. Gno Gnat problems since.

I think you guys are forgetting one of the best organic controls for gnats and other soil born invaders is beneficial nematodes. Once applied to an organic grow they will remain as long as the soil is kept moist.
