Have any of you guys grown any of the Multiverse Beans genetics? I got "Comet Candy" Auto Fem as a bonus seed in an order.

So, it's time to reconsider my rosin press choices.

As a mechanical savant I'm inclined to go for overkill, more thermal mass, more even pressure etc etc. This doesn't always ultimately serve my practical needs though.

At what point is it diminishing returns? My real criteria for choice is what is going to extract the most from the puck percentage wise? At what point does my return taper off on my investment?

I plan to alcohol extract the pucks afterwards anyway.

I don't care about the time involved, and likely I won't ever press more than a qtr z at once.

Dualytek seems to be good value, some good choices under 1k. Then there's the Nugsmasher. Is the only bad thing the price? I do like the idea of lifetime warranty and assembled here.
Are you handy? Do you have tools, drill press, cut off saw, wire crimper? build your own. I did, the prices have changed but you can still do it cheaper than buying. The instructions are here:

Any hydraulic press is going to get the most out of the puck there’s not much left. What is left doesn’t matter how much pressure you put you won’t get it out. The higher tonnage presses are better for bigger and multiple bags not getting more return. I run a dab press 12 ton with separate pump and gauge with 4x7” plates. I can press two 2-3” bags at a time if needed. The gauge isn’t that big of deal you’ll get the feel for it quick.
