Well with me trying more and more edibles/infusions I was surfing internet today and in my searching I did some on Tinctures
and seen 2days to 2months , I think it said check it here and there to dial it in to what you like, as far as strength. No set time.
Also, looks like maybe yours is/was in freezer(?) I never seen that mentioned in my searching today, huh

And so I was wondering what you folks use for the alcohol ?
I was thinking I would prefer the cleanest purest product , my searching , besides Everclear, vodka, etc..,.

I tried some ghost pepper hot sauce today.Me too
Took 4 breaths and had a sweat-stash.. im good with Jalapeno that is my range, the GP was tasty but over my Scoville index.. it did not tear a searing cone of lava through my guts, but was near instantaneous heat up.
The Watermelon Mojito washed it down nicely…
I’ve also got a Carolina Reaper plant out there….

I just made 2 batches.
I have access to Magical Butter Machine.
First batch was decarb’d and fresh (some trim) bout 17ish grams total. Bottle of Everclear. 130 deg 8 hr cycle.
I strained that, (the Magical has a pressing plunger) Then took the mash that was left over and put it back in the Magical and another bottle of Everclear, but this time just did the 4 hr cycle (same 130 temp) I am calling this the Green Dragon’s Shadow.
They are bpth pretty potent. The Shadow is a lighter more energetic in effect.
I am terming the first wash the “Full Extract” my next batch i will do a Golden wash, “Full extract” cycle in the Magical, and a Shadow run of that mash. Going to stretch it on out.
