Get small crickets or meal worms, they will eat them till they are big enough to eat pinkies. Small crickets don't chirp, but mediums to large do. Theres not a huge size difference between the 3 but I never got mediums or large crickets because if they don't get eaten they chirp all night long. Make sure you get a mineral powder and powder them up before dumping them in the enclosure though. It will help supplement calcium and other minerals that insects don't have an abundance of.
Also if you do mealworms and you get them live. Only put a few in or tong feed. After about 7-10 days mealworms turn into a really annoying beetle
