I have not read the past posts but saw something about site support? What is going on?

... well done you...with so much net info around.. writing books is a hard sell...so good for you....
I've been reading that excess silica can limit the plants, and daily dosing might not be good for the plants but once every week or 2 will suffice.I used to put it in every rez fill and top off. Didn't really see too much of a difference with or without it. Eventually stopped using it all together since the monosilic is crazy expensive

I only grew coco. 1 gallon bags. I tried it using it full time, and I tried it only with fresh change once a week. No real difference. Think the last stuff I was using was 0.5ml/gal. Only real difference i noticed with it vs without it is the plants are harder to train and more prone to snapping when you do. I've used the aptus one and the floraflex one. You can also use it as a foliarI've been reading that excess silica can limit the plants, and daily dosing might not be good for the plants but once every week or 2 will suffice.
Yeah it is expensive and a little goes a long way. The bottle is 900ml, enouph for probably 1300 gallons......at 3 gallons once per week I'll never run out. When I crunch the numbers it is much cheaper in the end.
I was using pottasium silicate in every reservoir, recirculating drip on hydroton with no ill effects that I could tell. But this stuff is much more bioavailable and coco will hang on to minerals.
I have limited experience with coco. This next grow will be 4× autos in 2gal coco bags so I can reach and move plants better than the stationary hydro buckets.

Thats what silica is supposed to do! U aren’t supposed to start it til u are done bending and training it! U can start earlier if letting it grow naturally!I only grew coco. 1 gallon bags.
