So I was bumming around amazon when I came across this. Its like those novelty analog soil meters but from what Im seeing, it measures ec and ph and both are capable of being calibrated yall think its a waste of money?

From what I've been told they're no good. But I have never tried one, because I was told just that, so I don't have any first hand experience.

No, it's just a simple cooler plate on-off style with a tray, you know. It'll work.

If u are into diy they sell the humidifier mister part by itself and someone on here got 1 and made a floaty ring to mount it in so it could just float in a 5gal bucket or whatever! I do too many dabs to remember who!

At that price its trash! Blulabs makes a soil ec meter that also measures the soil moisture content! That thing is almost $300 tho to give u a price comparison!

Ill have a look at that, sounds interesting. Not really, I just try to solve problems that shows up in my life the cheapest I can I got it after my dad. I grew up in a house who's kitchen window was from a bus. My pots when I grew indoors was just restaurant sized mayonnaise buckets.

A dehumidifier tho….especially a small one… they take so long to actually remove the moisture from the air u would do better to just have a good extraction fan that can run on low and quickly remove the excess rh in a matter of minutes! Use a baffle thingy in the ducting that will close when the fan shuts off so its still a sealed environment!
