And if that boat has four 100 HP motors, it's sucking up 40 gallons of gas per hour. If it takes them 20 hours to cross the Caribbean to Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic, that's 800 gallons... that would be 16 drums full, or 2.5 tons of gasoline! Plus another ton of people (11 x 180 lb.). That's already a heavy load without any cargo. The boat looks pretty empty in the videos. An open boat maybe 35' long? That could get swamped pretty easy in the open Caribbean trade-winds swells. I call BS. Most likely a fishing boat headed for Los Roques, a huge area of coral reefs 80 miles off the coast. After a successful day diving for lobster they need the speed to get those lobsters to market.
