Start with the biggest tent your lung room accommodates and build from there. I ran cheap lights at first and then saved for what I really wanted later.

The desired spot I have ends up a hair short of a 5'x5', 57", I have other rooms, but this spot lets me discreetly exhaust out a window away from neighbors. So I'm back to looking at a 4'x4' tent/lights.

FWIW I love my Tomahawk 720 had it in a 5x5 and now currently in a 4x4. If you wait or find a coupon you can get them 20-25% off or so I believe I paid 750$ for my 720 but I had a coupon code that I got from another member here that won it and wasn't using it Thank you @WildBill

Also it might be worth looking at flora flex they have a pretty big light for cheap 700 watts for 350$

I may hold out for a sale or something, I'm in no rush, just building the wish list. Summer heat/humidity kills me here, and summer lasts through october.


Alternatively, I have width in my space, 57" by about 10 feet wide. I could go for the 4'x8', grab a 350 Diablo and just grow in a 3'x5' space in the center of the tent. That's 15 square feet of flowering space, about the same as a 4'x4' and I'm not cramming shit to the walls of the tent.

Mileage is reasonable but the other is bull shit.

I would do this and grow the plants to one side or middle where you can easily get to all sides of the plants.
