Latest Farm Progress:
This month has been a serious struggle with cars breaking down, tractor tire problems, and various other financially and mentally draining things... But I am trying to keep it together! lol
Bought a new car... finally got it.... 6 days later the head gasket blew.... had to fix up the old car so it would pass inspection glad I kept it...
This whining is really just to remind you all... we all have tough days, weeks months, years... but we alos have food, a roof over our head... and live reasonably well and happy... there are many in the world with NONE of theses "luxuries". So when I have a tough day.... I always try to come back and remind myself of this.
cheers all! Much love!

At 80% you are risking bud rot and mold. You should aim to get below 70% ASAP. Then you can slow down the drying. I always error on the safe side and shoot for 60% ASAP.Ordered a small dehumidifier and an inkbird from bezo for my weed-fridge. I never needed that in Scandi but now I am seeing the principles of condensation in real time in a new way. My dry has been at 80% RH for 5 days now, which is fine actually, it's just been cut, but for future reference I'll need a way to control the humidity better.
Starting the dry time with a high humidity and letting it drop slowly has really proved useful for me. Weed comes out cured and good to go in approximately 3 weeks. Sometimes I have to let it hang for an extra night with the box open to get the last of the surface moisture out, but yeah.
Gluey weed has to cure a bit the way I do it
Don't use compressor fridges. You need a fridge with a constant cold source or you'll get a ton of condensation.
Wow! my Uncle had one of those, I don't know if it's the same model. He had an amp, but not the same manufacturer for the guitar. Knowing him, it was probably some sort of Les Paul. None of his kids took up the guitar. I believe his daughter played the clarinet or flute, I can't remember which. He played sort of a hillbilly bluegrass. I'm pretty sure he got it from Grandpa, as far as the music style. Grandpa came with the family when he was a young boy from Tennessee. I think they were way back up in the hills!Speaking of Vacuum Tubes----
another one of my found treasures !!
1937 Epiphone Electar Amp (super clean!!) This little amp was probably hand wired by Nathan Daniel Him self.
One of the earliest ever Guitar Amplifiers That were made ,really and I got it off E-bay for $175, as-is and works fine
I have it insured for $2500

When I went to physical therapy, I would start my CannaCoffee an hour before my appointment. It's in my Yeti thermal mug, it takes time to consume it. Being hot helps LOTS with metabolizing it quickly. I would fine tune it with vaping live rosin in a Swordfish. You can make it very easy on the lungs and still get medicated....just take a little extra time.Good Evening Folks......can't sit long enough to catch up but just dropped in to say Hi. I am healing up but it is incredibly painful as I had to quit the painkillers they gave me. Those things cause more pain and discomfort than the surgery did. Getting severely constipated when you have diverticulosis stirs up the roids and clamps things up pretty bad. Almost called the ambulance it was so bad. Got past it and am now coping with tylenol and massive doses of infused MCT oil. I get the staples out in another week and start physiotherapy. That should speed up the healing , although I'm a bit worried because it says to take your pain meds half hour before physio and I refuse to go through that again. I will get through it and my goal is to be snow shoeing this winter. Thanks for your support....you folks rock!!!!!![]()
I have found historically and only from my own experiments or whatever that as long as the dry temperature is below, closer to 50f or bang on it doesn't hurt the dry to be humid humid? I of course keep the fridge I'm drying in clean and sterilize it between uses. I check it with UV too. I work with packaging so I got the good shit when it comes to thatThanks @JM . I have struggled over the years to get my home canned pickles and pickled peppers to remain crisp and crunchy. I have since discovered the tricks, include a grape leaf for the tannin, Use Pickle Crisp (calcium chloride), and never allow the temperature of the pickles to go over 185°F in processing but need to be held between 180°F - 185°F for 30 minutes to pasteurize them using the new water 8 cups, 5% vinegar 6 cups and 1.25 cups salt ratios for the brine. I have been managing this with a gas fired water bath canner but it is a PITA to stand over the pot for 45 minutes or so getting it up to temp and then keep it in the sweet spot of 182°F. I looked at some electric water bath canners but they do not hold temp for pasteurizing and they do not hold enough jars. Since pint jars come in a 12 pack that is how many I want to process at a time. The sous vide is the perfect tool to accomplish this.
This is why I coined the term morfnoevight.
