Second morning @Frankthetank ....you had this cut of beef before....?.....Hip.....

New one on me....but Lidls is known for reasonable beef at reasonable prices...so it was worth a try.

Texture said probably a braiser to me...but the packet says the plancha/grill.......

I think that is the medallion from the sirloin. It’s a fairly tender cut, good for steaks. If you overcook it on the grill it will get a bit tough (pretty lean…), but otherwise is fairly tender.
