All our stars aligned this morning..... ...we needed to go shopping...but hubbys there...all bright and bushy tailed...

Traffic was pretty light...and he only road hogged once..when we were in a tailback from someone sticking to the speed limit... (inconsiderate of them....)

Breezed round the supermarket...on the way home...fflup...fflup...fflup.........flat tyre........,flat tyre.... completely flat......

Hubby got out and says I'm gonna have to change the tyre with the spare...that's the spare that has been sitting on the back door...under a metal cover for 24 Years....

Yes...that is the one he meant....pfft...luck had it that the nuts on each were different sizes...and he only had one size of wheel brace...so he rang his friend..the Wednesday free help...

And he came along with a tyre pump...and it did enough to get us home okay......I just need a few joints and no more drama...

They still sell pigs trotters over here..guessing for traditional stews.
High collagen stock... .. what's not to like....?...

Hubby tried chicken feet in our favourite traditional Chinese restaurant...sweet and gelatinous..the waiter said wow..you never see English people eating chicken feet...coz they are too polite to spit all the bones out...

My wife does chicken feet sometimes. I'll eat them, but they don't really make me happy. My refugee kids fight over them.
