It was just that item that was quoted in AU dollars. I usually try to order from domestic vendors, especially since the tariff wildcard. Lately US vendors have been out of 1/2" silicone hose, and I wasn't in a hurry, and eBay is good about refunds. Usually Chinese vendors show me the price in US$. During checkout I was able to change it to US$ in the shopping cart.

Ya last time tariffs were put on chinese stuff i know from personal experience that we pay the tariffs cuz i ordered the same light 2.5mo apart but was charged almost $40 more for the same one! People in here still tried to argue i was wrong as if my wallet didn’t know the truth! Good thing i am too cheap to order a new light now!

Especially now.....?.... ... that's really going to hit the lighting companies.

Haven't been here much 'cause Mom went to hospital again. Each time I think its closer to the end.

Day before yesterday she took her last breath. Poetically, it was late on the last day of Full Moon.

She had asked to see one of our dogs and to my surprise the hospital let us bring her. That was sweet.

My wife and daughter arranged an early Thanksgiving dinner and we brought her a plate of home cooked food the day before she passed.

I hadn't seen her with such an appetite in over a year, and she looked so happy.

Now I have to deal with the aftermath of beaurocracy cremations lawyers and an appartment full of stuff.

Not sure how often I'll be here in the next while but my garden is growing and I'll have to start a journal soon.

I've been waiting for a deal on 2 more Phlizon 200w grow lights. I just noticed that on their website they're $129.99, but on eBay Phlizon is selling the same light for $99.99. Both have free shipping from U.S. inventory.
