So is the lemongrass..for tea and your Asian cooking. Every stalk will make a patch of 10-20 in a season...so you don't need a lot..... ..

The price for the dried leaf is stupid over here...

I think I would have to grow it as an annual here, since we’re in the wrong zone, from the looks of it. (Unless there’s a cold hardy version I don’t know about)…

I think today we sit at the crossroads where we ask the question, which came first? The chicken or the egg?

Or did those in charge, try to make the book come reality?

I know that doesn't really coincide with a chicken and egg thing, but it's close enough and kind of creative. LOL!


But we really are really close to that crossroad! We are a LOT closer to the series Person of Interest, in becoming reality. Not the same extent in the series, but monitoring and computer power have increased vastly in 14yrs from the first season 14yrs ago. We're held a lot closer!

Over in the UK you have London, The most cameras in one city in the entire world or some other claim like that.

Over here in the US you have these private company putting cameras everywhere and selling the information to the government of the People's movement through license plate identification. It's called the flock system.

Now get this slogan of their company!!! This is Orwellian as hell....NewSpeak..... Shaping the Future of Safety, Together.

Cops here have been using it, abusing it and fucking up HUGELY! Lots of stories out there and it's the citizens that pay!


The problem is the people in control, I don't think they take it serious enough. They may think they can use it to their advantage, but unless safeguards are enacted, they're likely to get screwed themselves.

Now think 10 years ahead. Ai will vote for us a political party, Ai will know how we eventually behave in future, etc...so you get taken out of normopathic society and locked away because there's a tiny sign that could eventually become a crime or thread or whatever. cameras everywhere now are just the beginning...

If I had the space and sunlight I would definitely plant Melissa (lemon balm or bee balm)
It makes a delicious relaxing sedative tea.

It won't grow here so I buy the dried leafs and flowers.

I now view the things from our past as something that happened to us.

I was too damned disgusted with our corrupt government at 18 years of age to put my ass on the line to join the military. Appreciate those that did and do though.

You can always stick it in a pot and see if you can get it to overwinter... ...or cut and dry as an annual....

I was just looking for the fastest way out of the bad situation I grew up in….and I was able to leave just a few days after graduation that way. Just a means to an end in my mind. Plus, I paid zero attention to politics or really anything going on back then. Just a dumb kid from the desert…. Those recruiters sure are good at spotting the kids in a desperate situation.

I’ve been thinking about a small greenhouse back there so I can overwinter some things. There’s no room in the house to do it.

I decided that I’m just going to stay here, basically no matter what. I tend to go off the rails during moves…

So, that means I can feel a little better about spending money to build things like greenhouses etc…
