My neighbor got a BB gun to plunk pesky cats. I told him, before you go ahead and shoot something. Why don't I shoot you so you know how it will feel. He agrees and starts to walk away to prep and just shot him in the calf. He screamed. I said that was 1 pump and he says. OK I guess I won't be doing that.
My father also used to say, don't shoot anything you aren't willing to eat.
