For those that give a shit. I soak in bottled water for 24 hours. Then they go into wet paper towels with tiny bit or recharge added. They stay on the heat mat until germination. Occasionally they’ll be ready to plant after 24 hours without going to the paper towels.
I’m a stickler for consistency from start to finish of the grow. Some may call it OCD.🤣

Thanks bro yeah that's what I always did too been thinking no till for the cost and ease but seem costly up front
I wouldn’t let the up front cost deter you. In the long run you’ll save duckets and like you said the ease. I’d love to not ever mix soil again but I’m getting fantastic results with quality and quantity per grow and don’t want to slide backwards trying to re amend after each grow and not knowing if I have optimum food available.

Send some of the old soil off for testing! It will tell u in the results what u need to amend with and how much to put u back at optimal starting point! Much cheaper than buying new soil if u don’t mind mixing it up!

The testing isn’t cheap and I’m not sure if no till would give as good of results due to less aeration. My guess is it’s more suited for photos since our autos like maximum aeration but that is just my bro science.
