I picked up this air fryer and grill yesterday. Anyone have this model? For 150 bucks bucks, it better be pretty damn good!

Good Morning Friends.......off to the city for my 6 week post surgery checkup.........I get my driving privileges back today as well. You have no insurance if you get caught driving within 6 weeks of a knee replacement. I'll probably let the wife drive anyway so I can medicate and nap. Hoping for a good report........ :pass:
You should ask about the upgrade while u are there! ;) :eyebrows::d5::crying:

Chicken is cheap protein in the EU. It costs like prime beef ribeye did 4 years ago. Not to be bitter but.
In my military career, up until I got hurt, Grilled chicken was my go to protein for the most part. Chicken was expensive in Hawaii and San Diego! With orders to Hawaii, I capitalized on the fish protein. While I could catch good amount of fish close to home, that was mainly for family meals. When I started to use the Special services fishing boat, I actually bought a small freezer and put it on the covered Lanai. My favorite was a big ol' Mahi Mahi bull. 46lbs was the biggest Mahi I caught. Now the tuna is where you can get a couple of months of supply. I like both Yellow Tail and Bluefin pretty much equally. I like the big hunter fish the best.

It seems to be well designed and quite hefty. Best of all, I think it's going to be pretty easy to clean up too.

Now if my allergies would just calm down a bit, I might be able to utilize it. Talk about kicking butt! :face: :gassy:

Not a freaking clue as to why my allergies are raging like crazy this morning!
I am looking into replacing the teeny microwave that came with this place, and I found one that seems to do everything besides act as a smoker. Did not know that was even a thing.

Nope. It comes with a nice big thick manual. It didn't look that difficult to get good quality out of it.

In my book, smokers are only outdoor and involve wood and charcoal with no electricity.

I'm ready to do some tequila and lime wings! :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :headbang: :headbang:

Agreed.

The two things I am looking at are a combo microwave/convection oven/air fryer and an induction cooktop (single). As much as I love grilled foods, I don't have room on my counter for the Ninja as well.

Those combo microwave/convection ovens are great…. I Cooked a thanksgiving turkey in one on the convection setting once….worked great, and uses much less electricity than a regular oven, and doesn’t heat up the house… :pass:
