I had not thought of that. Sounds like something that will work well, the more that I think about it.
Highly recommend a sous vide. You can make big batches of food and freeze it individually. Then just throw them in the hot tub for an hour. Here's 4 freezer bags full of "Italian gravy". 140 sous vide for an hour until infinity and you got a bangin dinner with no effort. My anova cooker has been running about weekly for around 10 years

I had one awhile ago. I agree they are amazing... It's a question of where to put it. I have very VERY limited counter space
