Might be what you are missing too....:headbang:...I haven't heard you make any since you moved....:pighug:..
I found a good local source for kimchi, and I can get pretty good kombucha at the grocery store. I made Korean bbq fairly recently, with kimchi.. :headbang:

Good for you... :pighug: ...I haven't tried it...yet.

You do get fermented veg here..in Spanish restaurants...and of course there is sauerkraut...but the texture of them gives me the ick a bit..

Kimchi has a fresher, crunchier texture because it’s raw, naturally fermented….instead of the canned stuff that’s soggy.

It’s really good, depending the source, some has a nice ginger bite to it…usually nice and spicy..

I tried a lot of different sauerkrauts before finding a fresh one at Whole Foods that I like. I don't have any right now, It comes in a plastic tub. It is really good for my stomach biome. I have been eating Bubbies pickles that are a real fermented product. They provide the same type of lactose bacillus.

When we first came over I didn't know why they were doing a beautiful steak...and chucking this awful soggy strange veg on the plate..turns out it is a digestive aid..but as you say..I'd guess canned...:headbang:...and I've got a thing about textures......slimy..snotty..me gag reflex kicks in...

'Zactly.... :headbang: ..must admit I'd be scared to smoke bought bud now...they say a lot of cannabis in the UK is laced with fentanyl..(?)..or spice..i'd expect the same here..
That seems like nonsense to me! Who would waste product getting somebody addicted to something when they wouldn’t know what they were addicted to so they could buy more! Seems pointless!

Naturally fermented veggies retain a nice crunchy texture since they’re raw (just fermented in a salty brine until it forms various bacillus’)…
