My dog likes everyone, so I don't need to worry about that. She might be the most social dog I have ever met.

As pup, she took quite a while to realize that not all big dogs just want to play. She is a bit more careful about new dogs now that she has been beaten on a bit. Luckily, she was never hurt in the learning process. Even after her "lessons" she is up for playing with any sized dog once the protocol is sorted. Once she knows that play is the game, she can get knocked flying and still come back for more with a grin on her face.

mmm, u have obviously never met Gracie :crying: :whew: ppp

The Dude is extremely social, loves all dogs, cats and people…. Never issues…

Which is why you pay attention when he’s standoffish with a new person (or dog for that matter).. if he won’t let someone get close to me, something is up. He’ll stay in front of them and even move them back…

I've been using Momma cat psychology on Lil'Bit for the last few days. :biggrin: :eyebrows::eyebrows:

I'll put the food in the bowls and then I'll pick Lil'Bit up by the scruff of the neck to make him go into "Docile Kitten" mode. I then lay him into the palm of my other hand and I can then stroke and pet him as I praise him.
After a little bit of petting, I pick him up by the scruff again and set him back down by the food bowls.
Yeah, I checked a couple days ago, using the scruff to calm. ........yup....little Tom cat.

Here's scruffy Lil'Bit!:funny::funny:
