Questions:
Is it just best to start a grow journal thread?

Where do I post questions? General questions about base water or different nutrient brands/specific feed charts. (Better yet does the search function work well for this stuff?)

Any general guide lines I should be aware of?

Yes! Definitely journal your grows by starting a "thread." After you journal 1 complete grow, including a strain review, you'll be invited to join the "cultivators' club," where you can participate in test grows, show grows, grow competitions, and seed giveaways.

Where to post questions?
This (Live Stoners Chat) is the main hangout. You can get answers here, but keep in mind that it is a "live stoner" thread, and you may get some wiseguy comments too. During my first grow here somebody told me to throw my plant out the window, advice I declined to follow. There is a separate hospital thread to get help with grow problems, and there are breeder threads, nutrient threads, gear threads. The search button may find threads that answer some questions.

Politics and religion are off-topic here, except maybe weed politics.

Myself and most here grow for our own purposes, recreational, medical, or whatever undiagnosed balance exists, and to help a friend or two in need.

Other than a few members clearly identified we aren't selling anything.

This is me 1000%. As for my comments on reddit, I mean there is just so much IMO guessing, and bad knowledge given with 0 information. How can you help someone grow when they post a picture and say my plant is dying and nothing else? You don't know soil type, nutrient type, VPD blah blah.
Every time I try assisting someone and ask some basic questions OP doesn't respond or you get into an argument with captain know it all who knows the problem with 0 information to troubleshoot the problem. I don't get that vibe here. Kind of seems like fuck combustion honestly, which is where I started learning about vapes and so glad I found that before the reddit vaporents sub!

Then when you get on autoflowers on reddit you have the inevitable photos are better! You know just the childish stuff. Anyways, rant OVER!

Is it preferred to start from the beginning or can I just give some updates on my current autoflower grow at approximately day 70?

Still working out what method I want to grow next run as thinking of going back to coco and synthetics on the next run.

Also ya'll are really quick at replying. Before I get something typed 2 others have a response!

Just start where you’re at right now, and just have one journal that you do perpetually…. Then when you get a start to finish grow, and a review finished, let us know and we’ll help you get into the cultivators club. The journals are informal…no right or wrong way to do them.
