Just don’t use it as a rectal thermometer!

Years ago I was really sick and checked my temperature. I told my wife later and she asked if I got it out of our master bathroom. My reply was no I used the one in the guest bathroom which is what I use. Found out I used the one for our animals. Having their rectal probe in my mouth didn't sit well with me.
