Keeping in mind im also on insulin, cinnamon seems to help with keeping it steady. But u need to work kind of a lot into your diet.@PinkyNotTheBrain ..are you charging high glucose levels...have you found anything effective to drop the glucose levels...?..
Looks like hubby has a problem..docs got him on a 3 test thing to assess him and I was wondering if I could manipulate it a bit for him with food..?..
Lots and lots of fiber. Like i can pretty much have the whole head of broccoli or cauliflower at dinner.
Tea and coffee seem to have a compounding effect with the food i eat . If I wait a bit til my blood sugar comes down after my caffeine i can eat carbs and stay steady if i eat them too close together it spikes like i ate twice as much and stays high all day.
Slamming down a few glasses of water also brings my sugar down fairly quick if i happen to have an unexpected spike
