@Frankthetank CoM was good but they kept getting more and more expensive from 25$ a bag to 40$ now locally. Plus they started using even cheaper filler and the bugs
The context of that Tool song is important. When Maynard "Jimmy" Keenan was 11, his mother had a stroke. She would ultimately die as a result, but only after suffering in silence for many many years.
I identify with this because I also lost my mother to a stroke.
Tool released a few songs on the subject. Here's what I believe to be the next in succession.
did fine with that exact setup just used eb jr's and one plant per pot not much to it three top dressing and water only. You can add bennies and stuff to waterings once a week but it's totally optional
Look at ordering BAS direct pretty sure if you order two bags or two of anything shipping is free they're based out by you somewhere. Also I'd look at the 3.0 instead of the lite everything I've heard it's not too hot for auto's to start
Cool…wasn’t sure between the two. I guess it must be composted well enough to be safe for seedlings… hopefully have less chance of bugs with bas too…. Maybe.
like the earth boxes and may go that route to begin with but if you have to buy all new stuff really consider a tray 2 grow system with a bed on top of it. You'll get much more soil for bigger plants plus it's the perfect size for a 2x4
I’ll check those out. I’m trying to stick with the smaller tents, since they’re easier to tend with my back… so I’m trying to keep plants a manageable size. So the extra soil volume might not be what I need. (Alternatively, I could go back to the big tent, but with the two smaller lights, with a work space in the center for access. This wouldn’t gain me a ton of room other than up..)
How about using a fabric bed that is made for fitting in a 2x4? I had thought about going that route if I was going to try no till. Seems to me the girls would stay small in size compared to being in a junior?

This album, "10,000 days," is named after the fact that Maynard's mother finally died from her stroke after about that many days of suffering in silence.
