Love this forum and the invaluable and 'open source' information.
Very inspiring.
About to take a leap into my first indoor grow.
Still got a few decisions to make, but narrowing down the options.
I'm pretty much decided on grow tent size and make.
Think I'll go for 5' x 10' initially.
Dipping toes in the ater before establishing a perpetual grow system.
That's "the dream" anyway.
LED short list is essentially down to two options.
Choice comes down to either half the initial cost and double the power consumption, or double the initial outlay and half the running costs.
Bit of a coin flip.
Strain for first grow is down to two or three.
Logic tells me to select from the proven Dutch Passion autoflowering range.
So Think Different and AutoExtreme are high on the list.
Still not sure whether to go with TaNg's tried-and-true method of airports and Plagron Lite ... or push the boundaries with some RDWC system. For simplicity of first time indoor adventure, I'm leaning towards Sensei TaNg's method.
Why reinvent the wheel?
Besides, I'll have enough of a learning curve to deal with, without throwing RDWC into the mix!
I'm fortunate with having plenty of rooms/space to use, and with no neighbours, having odor control just isn't something I need to worry about. Even have some AN nutes from outdoor adventures, so pretty much good to go.
Any tips, tricks, handy hints or "I wish I had known then, what I know now" advice from the more seasoned indoor growers would be graciously and gratefully accepted!!
