Live Stoner Chat Looking for Alaskans

Fellow Alaska here! I am looking to be part of the legal marijuana movement up here an am exploring the commercial viability of autoflowering plants. I'm green here too but feel free to message anytime and I'll be starting a grow journal as soon as all my parts show up-

Welcome Fishman.

Hello fellow sourdoughs!!! Let's make "Alaska Grown" (have the sweatshirt-lol) a thing to be proud of. I am new to auto flowers but have a couple of Northern Lights just broke the ground. I am going to do 2 at a time and scatter them out so I can harvest every 3 to 4 weeks. 6 plants, with only 3 in flower at a time, will be challenging but doable I believe. Might be a little grey area. I am looking forward to the process. Growing, my own stash, is one of the most fun things I have done. Lets all have a blast and get the munchies together!

I have like 6 of those T-Shirts :hump:

I don't know if you were in the state then, but we tried to legalize in 2000. I was a big player in and lived commune style with Free Hemp in Alaska, the primary group working on the campaign. We totally hijacked the Alaska Grown logo. The best though was the 100,000 stickers meant for bakeries that we bought at a bargain. "Baked in Alaska"

Great memories. I missed being in High Times by four days.

Oh well.

Another Alaskan here. Never been a member of a forum before but seen you post and this is my reply!! Got a couple auto's going now they seem to be going good about 30 days old..

Welcome Snowchicken, do you have a journal going?

I was Here in the 70s when it was legal to grow and smoke. A friend of mine grew 10 monster sativas on the side of his house in Spenard. No problems at all. Damn good smoke too!! lol Put a woodstove in his green house and covered it with black plastic for the late season bloom. Plants were 10+ feet tall. Then they criminalized it and the rest is history.

Sound like we play the same game, I am heading up to work today. The wife tends the garden and sends me pics once a week so I can update journal.
