It'll get bigger and b able able to stretch now. Factory recommendation is 24 to 30 inches. I'd say so about 27 is your sweet spot for now. 24" in flower. With the cups I bet it works like my LED and needs a certain distance for the spectrum to mix properly and evenly. I wouldn't ever let it get closet than 24". A few people who run LED without the reflector cup style may b able to get theirs closer but you need your distance for what I explained above. Those pro stores are powerful lights lol keep your distance lmao
Dude I'm going to be honest I didn't think LEDS were as powerful as everyone was saying . Even after reading countless threads of led users I still didn't believe . So I ordered this one to see for myself . I'm still very apprehensive about what the yield will be and also the density of the nugs. I hope that this panel is as good as my old 600w hps. Y

I'm just figuring out how to maximize my lights potential but dude they are on point. I have 3 LEDs. Each were $400usd. Once you figure out how to use them they are great. This is my 4x4 under 1 mars series II 1200w. Less than 600w actual draw. ...I've, until the babies I'm just doing, followed the recommended heights on the mars site. Now I'm just trying to put up my light near the very top of the tent and let them grow to it. See which way works best and yields best. I did good these last 2 grows following the recommended heights....won lady months bom/pom that way. Here's now.
