Lower leaf issue spreading

hey krug, thanks for the heads up.

was it the "HM Digital pH pen" you went for?

still caught between spending what little money I have on something that may or may not save the grow and then not having enough money to replace the meds should the grow fail..... :/

Yeah mate, that`s the one! If you think about it, the amount of Herb you can get(in my neck of the woods)for that money, is nothing too what you can save, in the long run! Also, what you buy(Imho), aint going t`be as good as your own(9/10 times) A decent pen, really is one of the big :key: bro :smokebuds:

cheers krug

understand the long term benefits of a probe now, and the way I see it, it is like scuba diving without a dive computer, you can do it but its not optimum and a miscalculation can be fatal :)

with regards the cash, I have some really nice organic blueberry lined up from a grower I know well, so with the money I save not buying a probe I can add it to the funds and buy enough to last me until the next grow... hence my dilemma, if the grow fails and I spent £50 then I cant buy enough to last - feels like I am on a knife edge :/

but hey, she looked better today, and you never know when some money may land in your lap :)

Organic Blueberry sounds tasty man(see your dilemma...)! All the best with your girls mjdregba, Keep loving `em, sending healthy karma their way mate! :smokebuds:

Your water is good at 6 to 6.5. Consider yourself lucky. It is the alkaline water heavy in calcium, mag. and other minerals that gets us in trouble--the most. Water coming from the mountains for long distances is the hardest or those in mineral heavy areas.

Baking soda can over time add salts to soil. That's is over time with heavy use. Affects ability of soil to buffer PH.

Its the old feeding temptation. I still have it. A good way to overcome it is to try an innocuous foliar spray once a week. That is what I did this week----.

thanks again guys,

since I have switched to chemical ferts I can now use my florakleen to get rid of the excess salts.

hopefully this is sufficient to limp through the next four-five weeks until harvest.

these are the latest pics, she is the healthiest I have seen her since I can remember, some of the leaves dont even have red stems :) and the discolored leaves on the buds have grown out slightly and the new growth is green.

not counting my chickens just yet, but fingers crossed eh!!!
