My auto wouldn't flower for 72 days then i put it in 12 hr. Tent and it started to flower should i put it back on 18 hr. To get more yeild or would that mess it up almost like a photo

If it were me I'd treat it like a photo, it sounds like it would probably go back into veg if you change the lights back.

Is that the plant and the current state of the buds? If so, my preference would be to put it back to your auto lighting schedule. It looks like an auto to me. Lots of things are a crapshoot.

I was thinking of going to 18 but didn't want reveg. Only tried 2 autos ever besides this one yeilds were low. Barney's p.e. and one that topped itself. Both low yeilders. J.d. lowryder 2 maybe 2 zips i hope. All excellent though.

I know what you mean. Excellent smoke usually, but we're not dialed in. I'm gettin less then a zip on a small girl and more then two on a big one. Learnin by the day though and I think I'll see that show up in the yields as some of the better auto growers here prove every day.

You might consider newer/better genetics. Mephisto, Dinafem, or Dutch Passion maybe.
Would probably never have to deal with an auto that's not really an auto ever again.
