New Grower Lowryder Mix - New Start

... I hear this a lot too, and I find it's bollocks! I use GO as well, and I know for a measured fact organic nutes can make overly acidic nute soln.'s too, especially in RO water, which has all the normal buffering minerals (CaCO3) removed,... pH is wildly unstable in such a solution! Also, as Anthro-buddy mentioned, FuxFarms has been on the shit-list for many many peep's because of badly off-pH soil,... I found out the hard way too, mate, right when their quality started circling the toilet...fuckers! :cuss: So, use some dechlorinated tap to get higher pH going, too late for soil amendments/top dressing-- takes too long,... You can buy some pH up if needed to adjust the pH, but test your tap water first and see what the pH is,.. I strongly recommend getting decent pH meter, and/or at least an Accurate 8 soil pH probe, for direct in-soil measurement... direct testing of straight run-off will give inaccurate results, especially if nute's were used,... ride her to the barn bro', might as well, and see about that tap water pH, and get back to us; she may look like hell, but you can still get some good bud off here if corrections can be made, and keep feeding her,... sorry to hear about your wife, mate- :peace: :smoker1:-- sounds like speedy strains are in order! Check out Mephisto Genetics here,.. Toof Decay, Sour Crack, Grape Crinkle, and some others have been coming in under 8 weeks!

Thanks for the concerns about my wife. Slight chest pains started and ending with 3 blocked arteries. Scary stuff! So to make sure I understand, I should continue to feed her bloom nutes? I did flush the hell out of her with the hopes that I removed the build up and unstable soil ph. I started removing the horrible looking leaves. Is that a good idea?

Thank you again my friend and to all those assisting me with my grow.

I forget to add I bought Roots Organic soil and and their grow and bloom nutes as I read they are much better quality.

The flush wasn't a bad idea, only thing with that is it does seem to shock autos a bit for a couple days. So they might look droopy and really like hell for a couple days. It's also going to take a few days for the soil to dry out. Well you mentioned Texas, it might only take two days there lololol!

Don't remove any leaves until they're totally crispy brown and about to fall off. It'll continue feeding from the damaged leaves (which is half of how they get looking damaged lol).

I too use the General Organics GO box, and a box usually lasts me about a year. By that time they're getting kinda funky, and I order a new box and use the old stuff on the veggie garden. Veggies are much less picky than canna, it turns out lol.

The GO line can and does make pH go crazy sometimes, as I'm slowly now learning after using it for a couple years lol. Usually acidic, a low pH. I'll probably keep using it, but now I constantly test the pH of the soil and the feed.

Thanks all for your help. I will stop pulling until they are just about to fall. This grow turned out horrible for only my second grow. However, I won`t give up trying as I am committed to getting it right. I think the key is maybe pick one strain and get it down perfectly.

Should I feed at the next watering which will make it 8 weeks from when she sprouted?

What's more crazier is some folks on here say I don't have to check ph when using GO nutes. I think namvet mentioned this. Quite confusing ha!
