Indoor LSD Auto (Barney’s)

looking nice and promising for my LSD auto. Mine lags a bit behind at day 32. Nice net, nice plant. I'll have to get into scroggin.
This is not scrogging, technically speaking. Scrogging agressively trains the branches to grow totally horizontaly, with the aim of a wide canopy full of buds.

I would call this LST.
I am using the net to spread the plant and break apical dominance, improve airflow and light penetration and develop secondary branches.

There are some excellent threads and journals about autoflower scrog if you are so inclined.

The net is a huge improvement from the bungee types I was using. ¾" pvc is cheap, trellis net is cheap, and twist ties/zip ties are cheap. Aside from that all you need is a saw or pipe cutter and a ¼" drill.

Once built, the net costs $1.50~ per grow.

I don't know what you have but Barney's LSD Auto is very different from FastBuds LSD25 Auto.

I grew FastBuds' version years ago in soil, it was a smaller plant, yielding out an ounce. And dark purple almost black. The high was good but not at all like Barneys original LSD.

This is my first try at Barneys LSD Auto, I am hoping the effects are similar to the original. Its derived directly from the original but autos are sometimes different. Time will tell.

@VitaMan I grow the Barneys LSD auto also atm - I just updated my signature to reflect it.
I am looking forward to the REsult of the LSD.

Well you do use a net to spread them...call it whatever you like. I simply spread them with sticks, but never have the space to really spread the plants consequently with a net, cos I always want to have at least 3 cultivars in my tent.
I like what you do and will watch closely if our plants will develop alike.

Cheers!

Day 46. I changed the res and upped the nutes. I skipped the kelp/humic this time to keep the final ppm down to 1300 but added chitosal to the root zone. I also added cal mag "just in case" to adress the light green new growth.

VPD still in the zone but I should remove the humidifier to near the intake outside the tent.

Training is still not as pretty as many growers here. Raising the net to re-spread is too hazardous at this time but there's wire if I need it. At least canopy is even-ish.

I went looking for your grow and couldn't find it. Cant see it in your signature. I'd like to follow.

Send me a link?

OMG SHE STINKS!

Right now I have the bottom zipper half open to manage heat.

I might have to risk high temps and low humidity....

There's a big bucket of ONA on the stairs protecting the downstairs. Even so I got a whiff of my plant when I came home.

I think I need a block at the window in the room the tent's in but I don't want ona fumes getting into my tent.

Regarding not wanting to get ONA fumes in the tent:
ONA is sold presuming long term human exposure probably including in enclosed spaces. It surely is not going to be toxic to a plant. Our plants don't absorb/take up organic molecules from the air (other than CO2), while our lungs likely absorb at least some of whatever ONA puts out.

That's not it. I know that ONA is safe stuff. :d5:

And powerful. It'll neutralise whatever it comes in contact with.

I don't want to take away or change the smell or taste of my buds. If the block or bucket is in the same room as my tent, ona will be taken in.

Weather's warmer and I need that window open so maybe I could put the ozone at the window on a very short intermittent timer.

When it's warm enough to be inconspicuous, I can put it by an exhaust window fan.
