Did my first bit of LST today. Just fishing for some advice on what to be doing next. Guessing wait for the plants to grow more and bend it to allow light to other areas?

yeh that looks fine, you just want to keep the buds level so training it around the edge of the pot would make a circle of main colas instead of one.
id just drill some holes in the rim of the pot and tie it to that as it grows long enough to reach the next tie.
keeping them level splits the growth hormone auxins equally around the shoots so they all grow near enough the same while keeping an even canopy and being easier to light. hard to go wrong with lst.

Ahhh happy days :) yeah i did think that about the holes. Will have to try that one out. So basic idea now then as it growstet and keep a level canopy of buds and allow light to reach as much as possible?

yeh thats the general idea, you can leave it grow up a bit for a while to give you enough to work with then tie it down wait a bit tie again etc. each nodes sidebranches will then grow up and theyll be the colas basically.
if your pot is small and you have a large space you could stick something to the sides to extend it, just an option though not a necessity, whatever you want basically as long as its even itll work well. just use something not too thin and dont tie down too tight as itll grow and cut into the stem. some use pipe cleaners or thick string.

Ahhh thanks for the advice. I took a look this morning and decided to give the stem abit of support by tying for the other side too.

Yea on my first LST grow as well, i didn't tie the stem back on the other side at first and seems to not do much in terms of sending auxins to the lower growths. Keep that initial part of the stem straight and over time bring the rest to 90 degrees (if not a tad more so the top is lower than the bend) but looks like yours is going nicely atm!

As this was my first time I expected it to reach quite far around the circumference of the pot but on made it about 1/3 away around in veg (with a few more tops forming).. but when flowering starts get ready to be tyingggg :D

Good luck buddy

Super helpful LST advice here, bookmarked and picture stolen for my handy album :) Cheers guys

Looking good Dr.Dank! ^_^

Also what I learnt is to keep an eye out for the stem looking overly twisted (once its turned and going around the inside of pot) because mine did that and confuses the hell out of it and doesn't do much for a while lol. Trying to make sure people don't waste time and make silly mistakes like I did..

but as long as there's more light getting to the node sites then alls good!

if it were me I'd take the 'stem' support off and take the original bend down to 90 deg. and let it ride (something more like this) you need to keep it down so the new grothan catch up!
I use a heavier wire... found some really good stuff at the dollar store a gold colored alum thicker wire ....some of these plants get realy hard to hold down and you need to adjust the hold downs as the plant grows always adding more hold downs and then there's the next step....
