I feel your pain mate, im running 2 600w hps lights in a loft grow.
I hate to complain about good weather though!

Last thing I'm complaining about is the weather.... we have so few nice days like this! - Even Mrs M_C is saying the evenings are warm (She's the girl who goes to Barbados & puts her cardi on when the sun goes down!)

...I'm a bit huffed that I can't hit 250w, but it is what it is - & I will easily roll with it

34c in the tent this morning so I chucked her outside in the sunshine all day

When I put her back in the grow room the temps were 29.1c - with the lights off & door open! - Against my better judgement, I also turned the ballast down to 150w (that's as low as it will go)

Hopefully it'll cool of this evening!

WE had temps of 34 yesterday, so I can sympathise.

So, a little update...

The weather has been hot, hot, hot so she's spent the sunny hours outside rather than in the tent with me desperately trying to keep the temps down. I've had the ballast turned down to 150w but was still getting temps on the high end of mid 30's

But it looks like the weather is breaking & today I've managed to keep the grow room at 31c so I shall turn the ballast up to 175w & see how we go from there...

I've upped her feed to 0.3 EC, it may be a little early but we will see...

She's looking like she will end up a nice plant BA

...that's always the issue when growing from seed, you may have a duff one... and that duff plant can really rain on your parade in a diary

She is looking good in the sunshine M_C. She looks like she is enjoying the drop of feed.

I'm holding the EC at 0.3... it's a little hot for her.. but she'll grow into it

She's picking up speed & by the looks of things it will probably be tomorrow that I top her.

Temps have returned to a pleasing 28.8c & I'm still dimmed to 175w (I may leave it at that, I'm undecided at the moment...)
