Magnesium deficit encountered

Hello AFN's!!!!!

I have detected with the help of some members, a mg deficiency. I was looking for epsom salts, but its not sold here or I haven't found it yet. I did find and bought A product called Total Magnesium It has the following

Each envelope with 8 g of effervescent powder contains:
Magnesium chloride tetrahydrate .............................................. ............ 1.5 g
magnesium fluoride ............................... ........................................... 1, 5 mg
Magnesium Phosphate ............................................. .......................... 1.5 mg
Magnesium Sulfate ....... .................................................. ................. 1.5 mg
Excipients: citric acid, sugar, baking soda, tartrazine dye, lemon oil, Saccharin and Veltol Plus .
Each envelope equivalent to 220 mg of elemental magnesium.


Do you think is safe to use this???

Boy, I don't know about all the extra stuff in there...I guess I'm really surprised if pure magnesium sulfate isn't available somewhere in a pharmacy.

Yes I won't use it because of the extra stuff! and I found a pharmacy that cells mg sulfate but is a bit far, I'll go anyway

Should I put it in the medium (soiless) or foliar feed? I've read that the ratio is 2 tbsp per gallon for applying it to the soil and 1 tbsp per gallon for foliar feed, also if its foliar how can I effectively apply it to the underside of the leaves? I run a 24/7 led light cycle!

Thats not enought if youre nute have a bad ca:Mg ratio you always have mg def . Use it in two ways folar for 1-2 day and in the medium always but dobt use in full strengh .under led the leafes grow bigger and faster so need Mg.

Thanks @sylk855 @Waira @MediScrogs for the kind answers and advice, I dissolved 1 tbsp of mg sulphate in 5lt of water, lowered the ph to 6.15 with lemon juice and then applied it to the medium. 0.5lt to 3g pots and 0.85l to 5g pots.
