Those are starting to open, in a few days a lot more will be. yeah i let them dry in the jar with the lid off away from your girls. For me its the best way to not have stray pollen floating around. Some folks shake the plants over paper and collect it that way. I've seen folks put brown paper bags over the top, fold up the open end and stapled tight around the stem. There's different ways....

i used your method and got a decent amount from only a couple pods! im gonna get some more from him tomorrow then kill him

You can cut it with flour and fertilize the whole farm!!! All those girls will be pregnant!!! I'm ready to do some canna breeding....Its getting cool outside

ok guys so today i made a list of his attributes so i can remember what he was like and such.
i came up with:
SMELL: TOTAL SWEET Spearmint, WOW! nothing else to note*
Coloring: Petiole's Purple, some pollen sacks turned purple and main stem also started purpleing
Structure: Indica domant with nice stretch/node spacing
Yield: Great producer of pollen sacks

i collected the rest of the mature pollen sacks and placed them into a glass jar like @iampepe suggested.
gonna be alot of pollen @The Elvis !

i also picked some of his fans to take pics of might help narrow down what he is eventually....

Its a nice indica /sativa hybrid 9 fingers but fat leaves.. he will make some nice offspring.

If you want to test the male you can go the oldskool way. Cut some of the male flowers dry them and smoke them but don't smoke to much you don't want head aches.

thanks for all your help bro! i used some of it to cross it with a Zambeza New York City Diesel Auto i have going now.. i marked 2 smaller lower branches and painted some pollen on with a paint brush and put her in the basement for 3 days then i will spray her with water heavily and put her back in the tent

that may fit with White widow that its supposed to be and what the weed was sold to him as. im wondering what pollinated it tho... hmmmm i may throw some pollen on this fastbuds gorilla glue baby i got right now

he didnt have much as far as trichs on him but the smell was s sweet spearmint thats to die for! smells like a stick of gum!

2 things about ur boy..... 1. hes not really all that resinous :/ 2. I dont like the spacing of the flowers, males like that produce looser budded babies IME.
