Male hermie

I got 2 nice looking males that I was going to use to pollinate some females, but other one started to push out pistils next to hes bolls.
I read somewhere that using this kind a shemale would prevent females to hermie.
Is there any truth about this?
My first thought was to discard this freak. But I have not just yet.
Should I use it or not?
If some one has any info about male hermies please let me know.

That was a myth/theory by DJ short.... hermi is a hermi...junk ....IMO

We have a member here who did experiments with hermi males...and the outcome was a monoecious strain...

i am about to harvest a plant that came about because of a hermie male , i didnt want to chance growing an entire crop so did just the one plant , and so far ive not seen a single male part on it

and it hasnt just been dj who has mentioned useing hermie males , shanti and i believe even nevil have mentioned it over at the mr nice forum

bob one plant is not much of a "test" , member oscar who did the grows really saw hermi males and females in the f2 and F3 was real bad...

Everyone has there opinions... And shanti who I have the deepest respect for also is against autos and fems.... Thinks there going to fuck up the overall gene pool.

i do plan a proper test with 20 or so plants , just wasnt going to take that chance without being careful first , ill be harvesting this single plant soon and if i dont find any male flowers then ill take the chance with 20 or so because the cross i made does make an impressive looking plant , hopefully she smokes as good as she looks

And what happend Bob ? I am interessted cuz now i have 3 males that one of them Sweet pink grapefruit X big bud got female pistils, don't know what to do with it Should i try to polinate his sister or no and use the polen of the good males? Thanks and peace

i did not work for me , the offspring turned out full blown hermie , so bad i have no clue as to what they started as , male or female

one plant was not enough lol
