I grew 9 autoflowers and they all had seeds in the end. Could have been from a hermie or one plant did nanner.
Planted the seeds to see what is up. Here is a pic. Any guesses what this is?
Thanks for that. I just thought the way it is pointed down is a bad sign. usually those things are pointing up at the node. Maybe the LST made it do that.
A herm can pop up anytime after the plant shows sex. It might not pop a nanner till its 4th week in flower, or all the way at the end, or anywhere in between.
You can see male or female at the point of sexing.
Also... a female seed that herms and pollinated itself, or other females can't make male plants. It requires a Y chromosome that is not there. Only way to get male herms is from running regular seeds. decades back, there were breeders using hermaphrodites for breeding femmed seeds...a bad choice for feminizing seeds but was done...
This is a herm that originally sexed as male. (I was running regular male /female seeds) was looking for a male at the time, so running all my males out.

It varies. The bracts are often confused for make reproductive parts but males are significantly different. I've had buds get stressed to the point they produced seeds but never like what he showed lol
Those are just pollen sacks and pistils! It was culled this same day.
Went with a different strain for my male, not introducing that gene to my own work if I can help it!.
