uploadfromtaptalk1405607687456.jpg hi guys, this is part of my first grow. It is a photo. I just moved outside 2 weeks ago. Is it too early to tell sex? Or is this a male? uploadfromtaptalk1405607780305.jpg

What day are you on? A little too early to tell, they look like formation of pistols but only time will tell what they turn into, is it flowering season outside for you yet?

If you're talking about the growth where the fan leaves meet the stalk, those are nodes forming. The horns are normal

Don't know if they're normal for a male because I've never had a male or hermie

Which is kind of amazing, I've popped dozens of seeds.

Nope, no evidence of male-ness there....

I believe those little "horns" are called stipule (or stipulates at the base of leaves.) They are an outgrowth from the stem that provide some sort of protection to forming buds/leaf tips from what I gather at a quick glance (perhaps one of our more "biology inclined" could elaborate more extensively.)

Being the total noob that I am, I didn't keep the exact date. This plant came from a bag seed. I planted it and that's what really sparked my interest in growing. round about date is somewhere between 80-90 days. I'm in Louisiana and it is definitely getting 12 hours of darkness.
