Lighting Mars II LED Criticism Question

Thanks for the response... 11 Plants under 300W :jaw: is that even possible lol

I have 1x Mars II 400W & 1 oldschool 300W light for 2 plants i feel stupid now! I almost thought so that those "good lights" aren't that much different. I'm pretty sure even those are made in China correct? I mean 90% of stuff we buy today is from China. I just wanted some feedback and to know if they guy was talking BS about the PAR and 700 umol claim.

I love it here :dance2: I learn so much from you guys!!! :thumbs: The only reason why i go there sometimes is because i got a buddy there who i speak to sometimes and i just happened to see the post about a guy asking for LED lights. I thought I was doing the right thing by telling him about my good experience and great customer service from my Mars II LED instead I got insulted and he made me feel a noob which I know I am

I didn't post this here today because I doubted the people or admins on this forum who advised me to get the Mars II, I just wanted to know if the PAR and OMUL claims he made were true.
Clearly pop22 helped me understand that this guy has no idea what he's talking about.

Hi Cyklos, FYI I pulled over 200 gr dry from 4 plants grown under a Mars II 700 (300W draw) a couple of grows ago. For the cost of the lights I rate the Mars Hydro lights a bargain. IMO if the lights last for their warranty you can replace them after two years. As you can see we're all pretty loyal to whatever brand of light we've chosen. Keep growing!

I have a Dark Devil on the go as we speak. And I have grown it before. I usually find that it grows rather slim and tall. So don't expect a fat bushy plant. It is not in its genetics. But it looks wonderful and is a really happy smoke. Enjoy.

That's 50 grams per plant ... this is my goal for this upcoming grow I hope I can get it! I'm currently growing the AutoX and hoping to have a nice yield... However, comparing my plants to taNg's AutoX i have a feeling I'm not gonna perform as well as he did... His AutoX were freaking monsters :crap:

I wanted to know what did you mean with if they last for their warrenty you can replace them? You mean if they break or something? I thought they only send you the parts and you need to fix it yourself that's what someone on this forum told me. If you could elaborate on that, that would be great.

It is foolish to compare us mere mortals with TaNg's stuff. lol (One day maybe )

I can't comment on other suppliers, but my Prakasa LED somewhat failed 18 months down the line. They offered to send me a new transformer but I was not confident with the soldering iron. So, I sent it back and it came back within a week as good as new.
I have no affiliation with these guys, but they have served me well.

He's been using a Mars 1200 (I think he said its a 1200?) It's a Mars Hydro panel anyway.. Getting great results..
He's just started a comparison grow last week with the Mars light & a 4 x the price Blackdog 700U panel in a 4 x 8ft
Previously he did a run with the Blackdog first in a 4 x 4 with 4 ladies then straight after he did a the same run with the Mars hydro.. Got similar results very impressed with both lights bud growth & quality.. But as mentioned the Blackdog is ALOT more money..

He did admit that the BD light had better heat sinks & heat dissipation.. Much heavier... Just a better built light with a lifetime warranty.. But for 3-4 times the price you'd expect that.. The real proof in the pudding is in the bud though eh?

According to him they were equal.. It's a no brainer.. Don't worry about your light not performing Cyklos.. It will..

I never worried as I said before I trust the admins and people on this forum, they adviced me to go for Mars II or Cidley Apolo and I followed their advice. I just wanted to hear your feedback regarding PAR.
I watched his video and he grows some dank buds, I am also performing well with my Mars II the only issue i have atm is the Cal/Mag and dots on leafs but i heard it is normal for LED lights.
I'm sure I will perform better than my last CFL AutoX grow which only yielded around 25g per plant :/
