Mars II vs. Reflector

ok thats great thanx for the info , i like the way you have all the detail of area coverage on ebay page ect , it makes it so much easyer to figure things like that out , cheers

I bought the Reflector 192 in USA but will be using it in Europe.
Will I need a simple adapter or an electricity transformer?

Yes, you need a adapter or electricity transformer for if you bought the light from USA warehouse, we send you the USA plug.

Yes of course. But which one is it?
Is an adapter enough or do I need to use a transformer? (transformer alternates the current electrical energy, and an adapter just plugs on to the current plug to fit your electricity plug )

@MarshydroTina , I am trying to revive this Thread because I am confused about some information on your website.

The PAR tests are the root of my confusion:

Mars-Hydro Reflector 192: 1200µmol @ 18" distance in the centre at a power draw of 373.7W@220V
Mars II 900: 757µmol @ 18" distance in the centre at a power draw of 354W@220V
(Data copied from the Mars Hydro Website)

They both have a comparable spectrum. The power draw differs by 20W and the Reflector 192 has a couple of LEDs more, but do these
changes really result in this huge difference of the PAR values? Can the reflector in the 192 really increase intensity that much?
Using the chat function on your website (cool feature by the way :) ) I contacted a support rep who told me that it is in fact the design and the additional LEDs.
I have to say I find that hard to believe. If the Reflector 192 has a higher intensity and covers a larger area, what is the selling point of the Mars II 900. As for the PAR values, the Reflector
192 has stronger intensity over an average area which kinda contradicts a statement you made here earlier.

I have the strong feeling I overlooked something and I am not trying to badmouth the Mars II 900 at all but maybe you can clear things up for me.

the information on the website is old, here is the new par test of Mars reflector 192. The old reflector 192 with the lens is going to be higher, now the new model is not with lens, so the par value is lower than before, No lens looks low,but the actual total output will be high than before.

Thank you @MarshydroTina . I knew something was off. Now i can make my decision and place an order.
I guess that for a smaller area you recommend the Mars II 900 and for a slightly larger area the Reflector 192?

I have a 3.5x3.5 area, planing to put 4 plants inside, so I need good intensity over the whole area. This is really a coin toss for me at the moment. Can i get a recommendation from you?

I recommend you Mars reflector 192, the coverage of Mars II 900 is 3'x3', that will have a little small than your grow area. and the coverage of Mars reflector 192 is 4'x4' that can cover your grow area well.
