Try to shorten the hanger in half distance (put the hangers through the brass hole on the light and hooked oneside of the wire to big the hookers), in this way, the hangers length will be shorten in half. and then you can use a adjustable hangers to adjust the height freely. I hope I explain this clear, if not, let me know!
