@MarshydroTina - I was wondering, would an LED run as hot or hotter than an HPS/MH ? Or would it run significantly cooler? I can light a smoke of my HPS bulb, not a very comforting realization.....
My grow cab is pretty efficient - I suspect I wouldn't even need my ac running with an LED

Wich hid are you using 400 600 1k bulb . To answer short yes .. i just dropped another led 1200 marshydro . Its has less heat than my 1k hps at 50% ..and 600 hps same . With two 1200s on temp in a 4x4 82 tops so far .. in same tent 600 hps [emoji29] [emoji91] [emoji107]

Beware these 1200s and 1600s aren't light weights 30+ pounds each, prepare tent to take that weight ...also no power on switch dont look for one ..

These are 5watt leds. So yes its heat .yet you can as i have always blow a mini fans directly across the led push that heat up in tent..

The lights do great .. going to get a few more for self and customers.. i would suggest if you dont have a power setup to reach the cord. . Buy a longer 10ft cord.. becuase moving light up and down and or, on a moving light setup, you can loosin your plug. Wich can lead to a short.

I have several Mars Hydro lights and they just do what they're made for, Growing Big Buds. I really prefer the Mars II over the Mars Original but both models work well.

Addition info : panel was shipped fast and discreet. No labels identifying what it was is a good thing. After taking out the air colled 600w hps and replacing with LED mars 2 the hi temp went from 79 degrees DOWN to 74 degrees.
