Great product. I went with the motto of always have more than enough light for your space, well I think I have too much. This light is really awesome but even with external vent from the closet temps were in the 90s so I think I might need a smaller LED, but not an issue with LED it self.

Any noticeable plant deficiencies : from the light just some extra Cal/mag but that's with any LEDs

Addition info : Great light fans dissipate heat well. Well coverage and blend of spectrums.

Mars old Style 300w

Price payed $120 each

Power draw: 185w @ the wall

Build Quality: High Quality 4/5 for the 300w budget model

I purchased 4 panels from Mars eBay sales last year and note the lights have worked flawlessly in that time.

Sometimes I unplug two of the ballasts in the panels to run them at 1/2 power. Works well and saves electricity.
I will do that to multiple panels so I can cover a large area or separate seedlings.

Did you guys know HPS and LED are the best of friends when no one is looking ?

Its true here are two lights caught in the act

I will be adding 3 more Mars panels and 1 more 400w cool tube as the plants grow.


Can't we all just get along ? Yes we can

Last grow under MARS 300w / 185w draw panels I grew a few 1/2 lbs Autos
