Marshydro Review section

My first grow I hadn't plants under 2 600w mh numbs and I could t get around the LED itch. eBay had the 600's for dirt cheap so I was going to do a side by side with 2 Mars, actual wattage was same as the mh. I left them to run for a few weeks and bought some kind k5's which led me to take all my old stuff out. During the few weeks they did better under the LED. I sort of knew they were an ok light especially good for new growers or in tighter spaces. The 2 wattage wise did put out the same heat as the mh but I did get more of an even light too.

I'm currently going to try the cmh315 and probably just use the Mars hydros for veg. Not ideal but I think it will be just fine. Here is a picture of the 600 vs the kind 1000. Either the Mars is undersized or the kind is just a beast.

You would never guess the wattage of one if I have you the wattage of the other.

The only thing that gets me is the Mars tag on the panel mentions leaving feedback. If they were exclusively sold on eBay it would make perfect sense but they aren't

Mars Hydro has review sections in many of the popular growers websites , like here and 420 mag etc etc etc

it seems they have a review section in all of the growers forums, seriously , as I have 4 Mars panels the sections tend to catch my eye.

I'm actually thrilled this place has great support for the Mars lights. In all honesty I think it's a perfect light for so many growers and fits so so well in many situations. Granted you won't see to many 5000sq' grows with nothing but Mars panels but they do have a place.

I mentioned it earlier about my short veg experience going very well and if I had a use for more I would without a doubt buy them.

My recommendations on them fit newer growers, growers on a budget, smaller growers/grows and also where heat is an issue. The 600 pulls just below 280 watts at the wall. Now the misconception about leds is they put out little to no heat. This is wrong, a watt of any light nearly puts out the same btu's. 2 of these 600's will put out just below what a 600 watt hps will but it's fans disperse the heat where the direct hot feeling isn't noticed. This also allows the panels to be put much closer to the plants.

Overall I highly recommend them. As 1 600 watt panel could easily veg and flower 4 plants and still put up a respectable yield. Not to mention the price!! I think they are right under 150usd. The cheapest hps I think available is the Ipower 600 hps and that's just above 160.

Your right 24hrs, the cost of the LED at first is high than HPS, and other lights, but if you think in a long run: the light will have less heat, that means will save much more on cooling system; the light will have longer life span (the rate of light lose will be much slower than HPS for the plants to get efficient light); Also if the green house growers has large quanity order, we can do sea shipment and save much on shipping cost, etc.
Any needs, just feel free to hit me. Email: sales@mars-hydro.com or PM me here. ;) :d5:
Commercial warehouse growers are starting to switch over to LED lighting. The issue has been the costs to switch over is still high.

Addition info

I had these light running 24/7 for almost 6 months, They are now at 12/12 and still running strong! for the price of the unit it is a sturdy product and runs like a champ.
Heya I just scored one of these panels as well...
I am running it over one AKR auto and switched out from 2 cfls and 4x 28 watt leds.
My plant has made an incredible transformation over the last few days...and I thought she looked good under the other lights!
I would highly recommend the Mars Hydro 300Watt for newbs and low lever growers with a plant or two.
I definitely plan on adding another of these or possibly the newer models to my grow in the future.
