Indoor MasonJar’s Indoor Adventure

Winter 2025/26 New
Decided on some variation of genetics for this run. I had just run the GC and DP outside and thought they’d be best suited for indoors since my outdoor area has had better results with photoperiod strains or autoflowers geared to outdoors. The BananaOG is supposed to be pretty solid. I wanted to compare the Whistling Diesel to the Humbolt Sour D I just grew outside as well as inside. The Humbolt version was pretty loud and sour. Working on finishing up tent prep with the fans electrical and tray2grow trays. If I have time leftover I’ll start up the soil prep.

Soil Moisture Test New
Doing some soil moisture meter tests and comparing right after the water release. Which those damn auto pot valves still leak and looking in the garage for my Briggs and Stratton set.

Bluemat - 29mb
ZD Meter - 6
ACI - 70%

MasonJarOG 3.0 completed New
Upgrades are completed and talked with ACI support today. They do not have the moisture meter splitter available yet. So it’s one meter for now.

The lighting adapters did not work at all with my KindLed x750. After looking at how the control would have worked I’m not sure I would like it for autoflowers. I also looked at some other lighting mfgs to see who had lights equipped with WiFi and 2-3 channel spectrum controls. But by the time this light is ready to be replaced there will be even better lights available.

This new AI controller is working like a charm. I’m using it in controller mode and like how it’s working. I heard too many people complaining about using the vpd mode. Controller or temp/humidity modes seems to achieve the same results and allows for more control or human interaction.

Replaced those horrible auto pot valves. If you’re considering autopots replace the red valves with some 1/4” fuel line valves and save yourself some headaches and a flooded tent.

I added in two 6” passive filtered air ducts. Pretty easy but easier with two people. I wanted more passive intakes and put one in low and one high.

Day 18 New
Day 18 and progressing nicely. No more oddities with the AC Infiniti controller and accessories. I really like how the whistling diesel is looking that nice and green and that shiny leaf texture is pretty cool. The rest of the plants look like they’re moving along really nice so I’m happy. I did go online and was listening to Growcst the other day and they were talking about water quality and they provided a website that you can go to and check out your water Service in your particular ZIP Code Ewghttps://www.ewg.org/tapwater/system.php?pws=OR4100878 and figure out what type of test results they’re putting on their water, so there are some things that I noticed that I didn’t care for you know most of it looks like it’s chlorine based chemicals that are left over that could have an effect on the plants so I did purchase a carbon based filter to screw on my hose and fill my tank.
Also top dressed with Build A Flower from BAS. About 3/4 c per pot and will top water next week sometime. The lights at set at 75% on the veg spectrum for another week and then we will go to 100% on week 4.
