HEY GUYS & GALS CHECK OUT THESE PICS AND TELL ME I CANT GROW A BIG TREE???? lol

ok what were looking at here is my backyard this summer..picture #3 has my shed included in it so you get an idea of the size of these things! And to get even more technical, these were started from clones too, so no deep tap root and growth vigor that a seed would have given.. and they STILL got taller then 8 feet tall!!! were looking at Tora Bora, a Landrace cross of a Pakistani landrace and a Afghani landrace....and a single cola Dinachem from Dinafem in the middle there i think....and a picture of my Skunk as i ws harvesting it.....

The states that legalize it want to become the new Colombians....they aren't going to let prices go down like they should now that its legal! Legal pot should be no more than $80/oz, no more than $100 with tax. A good profit could be made at that price and 20% tax would be more than fair. BUT EVERYONE involved sees $$$$$$. Watch how big money jumps on the bandwagon now. R.J Reynolds will be the new Cartel.......... This means everyone needs to fight to keep/make home growing legal because I can see "special interests" working to squelch that.

all in I wanna say we got like 4-6 pounds off just those 4 plants, which isnt that bad considering they werent very big producers LOL

actually I had to ytake them down about 2 weeks early so it couldve been more seen as how the last two weeks are the most important... but One of my clones caught powdery mildew, so I sprayed them all down with a organic pesticide, which didnt work

So I ended up just cutting them all down to be safe.. the trichs werent amber yet like I like them... about 1/4-1/2 white/cloudy so it was good enough for commercial readniness

Im a big fan of couchlock, due to the extreme chronic pain I suffer from after being injured multiple times while i was in the military.... BUT I also like the head highs as well. So I prefer to cut down my trees when theyre almost all amber, like 80% amber... but Now Ive taken to growing sativa dominant strains to get bigger harvests and better tastes, more complete flavanoid profile... add a tiny bit of indica from my favorite medical strains, and then harvest it as late as possible without totally degrading the THC

anyways I been trying to add more updates but for the last week or so its been telling me AFN site was down....

shes looking REALLY good and quite large considering shes barely two weeks old!!! She was born a xmas baby on Dec 25th, I suck at math but I think that makes today day 13ish LOL

She just started pre flowering, I took some close ups of the pistils man these pics are taken with my CELL PHONE! LOL .. Cant wait to take final pics of the trichs(if possible) with this thing... I actually bought this phone specifically to take pictures of my grows, as its easier to just email the pics to myself through my phone than it is to plug in a cord and transfer im lazy I guess..

anyways she looks like shes going into flowering now... I ran her on a 24/0 light schedule from birth until yesterday, now I have her on a 19/5 flowering schedule(the AFN light survey was almost a split between 20/4 & 18/6, so I did the median of the two LOL). She sits next to the gas fireplace, which I run for 15 minutes every hour or so just to burn off some gas and create c02 My soil experiment has been AMAZING so far... nothing but ph R.O. water on it, no deficiencies, no burns, no signs of anything other than good, fast, healthy growth....... I forget who it was that very smartly commented or asked how I planned to keep the soil moist all the way through without having either dry pockets, or over-watering. BRAIN FART ON MY PART...I FORGOT TO EXPLAIN THE MAIN REASON I USE THE SOILESS MIX I DO.. cause it is the answer to why I dont have that problem ever....

Regardless of what organic based mix I use, whether pre-made, or home-made, I ALWAYS add LOTS of perlite to it at about a 50% rate.... For this go around, I started with Canna Bio Terra-plus for my organic base mix and added some fully organic, time release granules of feather meal, fish meal rock phosphate, guano etc etc into that Canna mix with the intentions of never having to feed the plant at all during the entire grow....THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS MY PERLITE MIX RATE... You want your soil to be able to hold water, but porous as possible. When I am mixing the perlite and bio soil I know I have the PERFECT ratio when I can squeeze the mix in my hand and it holds together when I let go, BUT IT HAS TO BREAK/FALL APART INSTANTLY AS SOON AS I TOUCH IT AGAIN..... So in other words IM USING THE SOIL ONLY TO HOLD THE PERLITE TOGETHER!!!s the best way I can describe it

heres a look at some new leds my buddy brought over for me to use today... .. these are side lighting units.. 150 Watts assuming its a flowering spectrum. 4 feet long 6 inches wide, waterproof, UL rated for safety, no heat, plants can touch it without bleaching or burning them... Im gonna mount one on each wall of my grow room, one foot high to light up my lower branches during flowering... freeing up my powerbloom plus units to just light the cola... these are called the "Veg Max" units... 140 watts, veg spectrum... EXTREMELY bright and powerful for the size and low wattage.. each chipset has a little bubble eye magnifying type dome over it to increase the light.... I paid $500 for 2 units!!!

day 18.. shes right at 42cm or 16 inches approximately... couldnt be healthier.. Ive never seen a plant grow this fast and healthy... Looks like she SHOULD be a pretty decent producer!!! the first 2 of 3 seed orders I made on xmas got here, my superoots pots arrived, Im just waiting on the last seed order to get here and then 2014 REALLY begins LOL I have a collection of genetics that would rival some seed banks

its a prototype model growthstar is working on.. they dropped one off for me to check out over the weekend and give feedback on it.. I loved it.. i want two at least to use for side lighting
