no you cant, BUT you CAN see the roots through the drainage goles I cut in the bottom of the trash can.. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DOUBTED A ROOT WOULD GO ALL THE WAY DOWN IN A 21 GALLON TRASH CAN... HERES A PICTURE FOR YA!!!......

MOST of those roots are as white as can be too especially considering there just sitting UNDER the trash can all day LOL INSANELY HEALTHY ROOT SYSTEM!!!! but NO you cant see them through the screenthe purpose of the screens is STRICTLY to allow the air to help keep the soil from getting yucky and rotten near the bottom and center... YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT WHEN YOU GROW BIO SOIL OR ANY SOIL REALLY IN A CONTAINER THIS LARGE AND DEEP.... if you dont have some sort of way to get air to the roots, theyll get root rott among othetr things...
after the grow is over, Ill de-construct the trash can on here for you guys to see what it looks like at its basic trash can self LOL plus Im gonn add MORE slots for more air flow
I bought 4 10 gallon Superroots pots that ill be using from now on.. BUT I WILL ALWAYS HAVE ONE PLANT GOING FROM NOW ON IN THE "GERMINATOR" lol
so this one was supposed to only be 50-60 cm and its at 80 cm already... the NEXT strain Im gonna plant in there is a BIG BUD AUTO x NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO x AUTO BLUEBERRY 3rd generation auto with THREE killer parents!!!
