Just from what it moist on top I'd say its really wet. Thats all coco right?

The best thing I think you can do is get the $5 moisture meter with the single skinny probe and stick that down in the substrate a few inches and towards the middle and get some readings off it in multiple spots in the pots. If you're pinned far right in the blue you are saturated. In the middle you are good. Just starting to lean towards red, say like a 3 on the scale, its time to water the outer edges. Why guess at the most important aspect of rocking some great healthy vigorous seedlings? And if you're using coco, I'd be using some nutes right out of the gate.

Yes, pure coco. I do have a moisture meter somewhere, god knows where!! I try to follow Hans method, and he says to water with nutes on day 5. I did prewater the pot with calmag and voodoo juice. Im just used to coco drying much faster than this. maybe its the low temps in my tent...im used to growing in summer. Also, I think I messed up and assumed day 5 water was 5 days after initial water. Its not. Its 5 days after babies break soil. so I actually have a little to go before day 5 feed. Thanks hon!! What would I do with out you guys??

Below is the feed schedule I wanted to follow. I think where I got messed up is I thought day 5 water meant 5 days after initial pot water. You guys let me know it actually means 5 days after babies sprout. Thanks

Day 1: Top water each pot 1.5L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice & 1ml/L Cal-Mag. Drop in germinated seeds.

Day 5 AFTER SEEDS SPROUT: Top feed each pot 0.50L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice, 1ml/L B52, 1ml/L Cal-Mag & 0.5ml/L Sensi Grow A/B

Day 10: Top feed each pot 0.75L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice,1ml/L B52, 1ml/L Cal-Mag & 1ml/L Sensi Grow A/B

Day 15: Top feed each pot 1L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice,1ml/L B52, 1ml/L Cal-Mag & 1ml/L Sensi Grow A/B

Day 20: (Last top feed)1L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice, 1ml/L B52,1.5ml/L Cal-Mag & 1.5ml/L Sensi Grow A/B.

START AUTOPOT RES AND TURN ON AIRDOMES: Add 15L (4G) distilled water to the res, 1ml/L B52,1.5 ml/L Cal-Mag, 1.5ml/L Sensi Grow A/B and 1ml/10L Drip Clean.

Next res fill (day 25?): Add 15L (4G) distilled water to the res, 1ml/L B52,1.5 ml/LMCal-Mag, 2ml/L Sensi Grow A/B, and 1ml/10L Drip Clean.

Next res fill (day 30?):Add 15L (4G) distilled water to the res, 1ml/L B52,2ml/LMCal-Mag, 2ml/L Sensi Grow A/B, and 1ml/10L Drip Clean.


CONTINUE ABOVE FEED UNTIL STRETCH STOPS, THEN START BLOOM NUTES.

I was going to start to use Grotek Pro Silicate this grow...but I think I might keep it simple and hold off till the next grow. I am also a little confused about additives such as big bud, carboload, all that stuff.

DAY 5 ABOVE SOIL (COCO!):

Well, I found my water meter and stuck it down in the pots. Even though the tops looked wet, the meter registered on the dry side. (THANK YOU @lunarman ) So... the ladies got their first feed today. Top feed each pot with 0.50L distilled water, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice, 1ml/L Cal-Mag & 0.5ml/L Sensi Grow A/B.

I don't have any B52 left so I will have to run to the grow shop some time this week. I used 1ml/L B52 every water all through my last grow. Since last grow went well, why mess with it, right? :smoking:

I did notice that ms. diesel on the left has a second set of leaves while lady blue on the right still does not ~weird considering ms. blue was the first to show her pretty head


I also had to pull one diesel baby as I couldn't have 2 in one pot. It broke my heart to have to choose, but I finally pulled the one that didn't seem as tall or as green as her sister. I didn't want to throw her away, I felt so guilty!!! I put it on the table and when I turned around my cat had eaten it.

I KNOW...I KNOW...."Don't compare your grow to others"....but they just seem so tiny for day 10!! Standing tall and green, but small.

The best part of keeping a journal is being able to see the photos at different dates and see just how much they’ve transformed in such a short time. Two weeks from today go back and look at these pictures

What strength of nutes are you using for vegging? Is it full or half strength?

I always feel like my plants are so much smaller than other peoples are at the same age... but then a few weeks later when they’ve taken off and transformed into a bush it’s like a distant memory. The best part of keeping a journal is being able to see the photos at different dates and see just how much they’ve transformed in such a short time. Two weeks from today go back and look at these pictures

Thank you Tiny. I know, I hate feeling inadequate so I shouldn't compare. But I know we all do I will give them some time and see what happens.
