Yeah, it looked nice. I even got some close ups of that one where you can actually see the purple in the trichomes themselves. you know the mushroom looking trichome, well the stalk and the head were purple as well. I thought this uncommon because I thought all the purple came from the vegetation itself. However I was kinda right. What I was told was that the trichomes showing purple were actually a prism effect from the color of the plant. The trichome was only projecting the purple as being in the trichome. Interesting to say the least.

I just got good news. I was in the room talking to the girls, and I saw some serious frost on one of Root66 branches (yes she gets to claim just parts of the plant, lol). I had my scissors in my hands for some particular reason, but I couldn't clip hers. I did want a taste so I lopped off one of the lower branches. Lo and behold... wait for it... SEEDS! wooohooo, I am gonna b a pappa.
I only tried to pollenate a few of the branches, and I forgot this was one of them (Root66 would not be surprised), so I ruined those, but the other's look good. Just knowing I can do this is got me all hot and bothered.

Just a little update,
I think I may have more seeds than I had anticipated. Almost all of the buds have seeds. It will probably affect my smoking harvest. but I am not gonna cry about it because I will have seeds forever.
Just a thought: can you tell if your plant is ready to harvest by the seed maturity?
I will take some pics (already did once, but were fuzzy), and give you a real update with pictures.

Is the top cola seeded too?
I have seen where you can clip that top sensi cola off and let the rest of the plant that is seeded developed for a bit longer. Not sure if this is the case for you, just figured it relevant.

Okay, here is a bit more detail...
started off by pollenating two branches by hand. Meaning: Took some pollen in my hand from the male Assassin's Cleaner here in my smoking room, walked into the grow room, with fan off, and rubbed little amounts of pollen on the buds with my fingers, all done with one clean hand, the other hand was washed too, lol. I did this to two branches, both lower ones on two different AF-Jack Plants and both at the same time. Please dont get me wrong, I knew that there was a good chance of residual seeding, But I was hoping for about a hundred seeds, but I saw no harm if they all seeded.
I will still get some smoke out of it, and they are still frosty as hell. But the main idea of this first auto grow, was to get seeds so I wont have to pay for them in the future. And it looks like I have acheived that. I am not disappointed though. I can buy meds if I need to.

Hey Eek, that method you described is a sure way to seed up the whole grow area! LOL I have successfully pollinated single buds on multiple plants with a small paint brush and no accidental pollinating of other plants or branches by covering up the whole plant with a plastic "garbage" bag, in a room away from the grow area, using only minimal pollen. Got 360+ seeds from TWO BUDS on a plant.
All that seeded bud is still good stuff for hash, oils, and what not. I have a jar full of bud material that was seeded that I nip at all the time. It's just missing some trichs from the de-seeding mishandling. Shouldn't be a problem for you guys, since you know how to use the WHOLE plant for good meds...

Sorry, should have said: ...by covering the whole plant with a "garbage" bag and only leaving the buds to be pollinated exposed for pollination..." :smokebuds:
