Indoor mazzar at near 50 days not doing much chop or not?

This mazzar has had a bit of a hard life i stunted it a bit then it got some root rot.

the rot has more or less gone as i ripped the roots off! now most of the roots are looking good. its drinking loads at 1.4 EC but its just not doing much. its shown sex a long time ago but it aint making no buds! so should i wait or chop ?

You could try switching it to 12/12 to see if it'll start flowering. Having come this far I would try that and if they form just little ones then the whole escapade won't be a waste and maybe you'll get a few decent nugs. Just my .

thanks man, can switch it as i have a load of other stuff in there! its on 18/6 and DP sat its full auto so..

Mind you i think SB's mazzar took 100 days to come in and that went 350 grams..

i can wait as i have that massive la diva coming in in 20 days or so

Hmmm. True. That wouldn't be good for the rest probably. I was thinking maybe you had another area to do that in or something. Alright check this. Leave her in there for 12 then pull her out of that tent and put her somwheres dark for 12 and then back again. See what I mean? Line it up to start when your 'lights on cycle' starts and then pull her out after 12 hours. Or any other combination you could work out. That way you can leave all the other for their regular 18/6 cycle put put that one on 12/12 to see if she'll flower. It could be worth taking her in and out for a while ya never know. It'd be tricky depending on your personal life schedule but could be done. Just throwing this out there. Later

I don't have too many auto grows under my belt to offer sound advice, but imho the longer they veg the better the yield you'll have in the end. Switching to 12/12 will defo help it finish faster but if you have the option of waiting for higher yield vs. faster finish time I'd personally go with higher yield. I have a Jet 47 on day 40 also at 18/6 and she's still preflowering like a bitch, but also she's shooting out more and more bud sites's by the day. I"m gonna let her get as big as her little heart desires and try and pollinate with male J47 pollen just cause I like her pheno.

theres nothing wrong with her adz..

dont chop her, the mazars that take a bit longer are normally the big yielders. you have a very big root system there, i reckon your gonna have a beast of a plant..

Hi adz, dont chop her. In the past some AutoMazars went to 100 days, a tendency we have since corrected, the new beans are 70 day lifetimes. Looks like you had some of the beans, like seymour, that can go longer. The extra time will be rewarded with extra harvest though. So I personally would keep her going.

As for the roots, in DWC the more oxygen you can get them the bigger and healthier they become. Good luck

cool thanks Tony i would hate to chop her down anyway... just got me some TD burning a hole in my seed bank!

I will put another air stone in to be on the safe side, i have 120l min going into 8 buckets so 15 L into each but i find when the roots get really big you need two stones. on my big La Diva pictured below i found that air just wasn't getting threw to the top of the roots and they started to rot. I stuck a cylinder type air stone right in the middle of the roots and it worked a treat.

I can wait for her to show me what shes got as the La diva has less than 20 days to go, not bad for a free seed and my first DWC outing!
